Irving Park, Chicago Residence - New Build and Furnishings

The homeowners purchased this newly constructed luxury house in the Chicago’s Irving Park neighborhood to begin a new stage of their lives.   They wanted a comfortable, sleek, modern home with minimal aesthetic that’s suited for their family and lifestyle.  We were challenged to maintain the high-end aesthetic of the home and stay within budget.  Even though there is an open floor plan, you cannot see everything right away when you walk in, which creates a sense of a space beyond. We were thoughtful about keeping it open but also allowing it to evolve and establishing an element of surprise as one walks through. The spaces can be used for a single function while also contributing to the whole, making the home flexible for both intimate and large gatherings.
